Privacy policy
Effective October 13, 2026
PayablesCheck ("we") provides automated review of accounts-payable exports and vendor lists for possible duplicate payments and vendor-record problems. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Payment exports you send (date, vendor, invoice number, amount).
- Vendor list details you send (name, tax ID, email, address, date bank details changed). Tax IDs are masked in every report we produce.
- Your name, email address and the messages you send us.
What we never ask for
- Bank account or routing numbers, card numbers, or logins to any system.
- Employee or customer records beyond the employee name and address you choose to send for the address check.
How we use it
Only to provide the service you asked for, answer you, and bill you. We don't sell or rent your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Automated processing
Our service is automated. Software reads your files and prepares reports and drafts; unclear items are flagged for review.
Retention and deletion
Files from a free sample are deleted within 30 days. Customer files are kept while you're a customer and deleted within 30 days after you cancel, or sooner if you ask. Email hello@payablescheck.com to get a copy of your data or have it deleted.
Service providers
We use an email provider, a website host and a payment processor (cards are handled by the processor; we never see full card numbers).
Security
Files are stored on access-controlled systems. Please don't email bank account numbers or full Social Security numbers.
Children
PayablesCheck is for organizations and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date above.
